CMD-1A:
United States Air Force Academy v University of Colorado Buffaloes
On a dandy rugby day down the Kettle, regional college men's division-1A rivals Air Force and CU got after the pill at the Infinity Rugby Complex in Glendale.

First 20 minutes for the Zoomies and 10 points their profit on a penalty and converted try, while the Buffs owned the last section of the first forty, with a sticksplitter from in front of the posts and an unconverted grounding. for midway tallies of 10 and 8 in the servicemen's favor.

CU tighthead, a ubiquitous entity throughout the match |
Each side showed brilliant communication and flow at times, though Air Force mishandles may have been CU's best defense on occasion. The Zoomies were hungry and adept at back-three kick-counters; Buffs scrappy and savvy with shuddering inside channel industry.

AFA scrumhalf: dodgy and skilled |

With Air Force ahead 22-13 and the last ten minutes on tap, a converted try by the Schoolboys of Boulder made for a 22-20 scoreline; it was absolutely there for the Buffs at the death as they ran from their own tryline with an overlap extant. But a final fling to the wing was knocked on and with that, field magistrate Derek Summers whistled an end to proceedings and the Zoomies had the win and a record of 22-20.
