Europe Upcoming 3.8-3.10

Europe Preview 3.8-3.10: Gallagher, Guinness and T14

Gallagher Premiership: Round 16; 6 rounds remain; 30 Table Points available; early 60s or better should see extra time

Friday, 3.8:

               Bath (35) v (58) Saracens at the Recreation Ground: homeboys could benefit huge from victory tonight; Sarries say, wot? Rain and a blowy wind forecast for the evening with temps in the 40s;
               Sale Sharks (34) v (34) Leicester Tigers in AJ Bell at Salford City: unless either of these win all their remaining fixtures in a large way, this is for a paycheck and future contract items; light rain and a bit of wind with temps in the mid-40s for kickoff;

 Saturday, 3.9:

               Wasps (36) v (21) Newcastle Falcons at the Ricoh: Home team are still innit, but must have as many table scraps as possible from this; visitors entering the desperate, do-or-die phase of the relegatory system; temps close to 50, slight chance of rain, definite wind;

               Northampton Saints (35) v (30) Bristol Bears at Franklin’s Gardens: visitors will have to get nuclearly hot to reach extra time, but should enjoy the spoiler role; homeys need big wins from here on in to qualify; rainy all week should clear for kickoff, but will leave a moist surface; fifty and windy;

               Worcester Warriors (26) v (61) Exeter Chiefs at Sixways: El Jefes drop their guard and this could be surprisingly good news for their opponents on the day; home XV are only five points off relegation station; 50⁰, slick without rain and windy;

Sunday, 3.10:
               Harlequins (48) v (41) Gloucester at Twickenham: derby between the 3rd- and 4th-placed sides; homeys hottest team in the league now; Cherry-and-Whites will not be happy with their last result and a stoppage of their hosts critical in travelers playoff plans as they’d want to keep pace and maybe gain ground, and they need to stay in front of near-chasers, Wasps, Saints and Bath; 50, good chance of rain and a significant crossfield breeze;

Guinness Pro14 are on the bye for the fortnight

Top14, they’re on the bye, too, but just for this weekend
