Major League Rugby NA Preview: 3.21-24

Major League Rugby North America
3.21-24 preview
Thursday, 3.21:

               Houston SabreCats (6) v (7) Utah Warriors at Constellation Field, Sugar Land TX, 6:30pm MST: both sides have had difficulty locating the try zone, but the home team lets in a lot, while their guests have one of the stingiest defenses in the league; low 70s, no rain, not much wind looking like perfect conditions for the evening show;

Saturday, 3.23:

               Austin Elite Rugby (2) v (26) NOLA Gold at Dell Diamond, Round Rock TX, 1pm MST: visitors will be looking for as many points as possible; best not overlook or the Elite could surprise, surprise... they are due; could be rain with wind and mid- to high-60s for the derby;

Sunday, 3.24:
               Rugby New York United (23) v (23) Glendale Raptors in MCU Park, Brooklyn,12pm MST: numbers 4 v 3 on the table and home team with a game in hand; visitors need table points; United are hot in the league right now; Raptors with a pair of draws; New York have won big on the road and won small at home last week, but the XV is capable of putting points aboard swiftly, so their guests of the day will look for early, significant containment, while hosts will be relentless, chip-chip-chipping along downfield from breakdown with short, cutty pick-and-goes and inner-running gambits to open up the outside channels for exploitation of any dither in the defense; no rain, bit of a breeze and 50 for noon boot; everybody will have their Eagles returned from international duty at the 2019 Americas Rugby Championship; all this makes this the Match-of-Weekend.
