Super Rugby Round 9 Preview: 4.12-4.13

Super Rugby Round 9: Preview 4.12-4.13

Friday, 4.12:
               Crusaders (29) v (19) Highlanders at the AMI in Christchurch, 1:35am MST: it’s been since February for the travelers last win and their hosts on the weekend should like to keep that run ongoing; cloudy in the 50s, could be rain, will be wind;

               Rebels (23) v (14) Stormers at AAMI Park, Melbourne, 3:45am MST: visitors are unwon on their current, four-match Super rugby odyssey; home team look to keep that streak happening as they’ve won their last two, but had their own losing thing in South Africa a fortnight past; temps in the low 70s, bitty wind, no rain forecast for the match;
Saturday, 4.13:
               Chiefs (12) v (19) Blues at FMG Stadium, Waikato, 1:35am MST: two of the hottest clubs in the competition, though homeys started late, get after it as Color Guard runs down State Highway 1 less than 100 miles for the clubs’ first meeting of 2019; 50s, bitty wind, no rain on tap;

               Brumbies (11) v (18) Lions at GIO Stadium, Canberra, 3:45am MST: travelers in the opening fixture of a three-match road trip that has the Big Cats covering almost 16,000 miles afore they see High Veld again; Lions working the pill equally as well from lineout or scrum in the sets, lotta short mauls and jabby pick-and-goes, while Mob function from the scrum best; 70, give-or-take, no real breeze and abso no rain for the reckoning;

               Sharks (21) v (14) Jaguares at Kings Parks, Durban, 7:45am MST: home team back in the conference ordering seat after last weekend’s pounding of Lions on the trot at Ellis Park and they’ll be hungry for more; their opponents will be looking for consistency, continuity and possession maintenance to provide their sleek threequarters opportunity to run; 70s, bit o’ breeze and nary one drop of rain for this'n;

               Bulls (18) v (14) Reds at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria, 9:15am MST: Bulls will like victory here as it didn’t go last weekend v Jaguares and their faithful would be disgruntled, to say the least; their guests on the RugbyDay need to have the Genia-Cooper halfback connection going smoothly in order to upset their hosts; about as good as rugby weather gets: low 70s, no rain, some clouds, nary wind;
Hurricanes, SunWolves, Waratahs on the bye.
