2019 Rugby World Cup - Saturday 48

The Pertinent 48 - in a minute!
24 hours either side of now: the pool waters are revealing many secrets though there are yet one, maybe two, left to uncover.
Prior to:
                                Australia got the necessary, going up 19-3 at the half despite a brace of first forty yellows, in a seven-try performance, recording the 45 - 3 five-pointer over Uruguay;

                        England made the statement, out-trying their vaunted foes six-to-one, making 15 - 3 midpoint advantage 39 - 10 final past Argentina;

                        Japan did the business with the five-pointer, but only just, grounding the bonus-point try well into extra time to secure topspot in the pool for now with 38 - 19 victory over Samoa;

Post this instant:
                        New Zealand (9) v (0) Namibia at 10:45pm MST tonight, Saturday in Tokyo Stadium: this outcome will surely put All Blacks into the position everyone’s been expecting since kickoff of the Japan-Russia match;
                        France (9) v (0) Tonga at 1:45am MST tomorrow, Sunday, morning in Egao Kenko Stadium, Kumamoto: France are rockin’ second in their group just now, but stumble here, Les Bleus, and there’s a cat behind ready to pounce! Tonga’s last two matches are their RWC finals and they’d like to show well...
