Super Rugby Aotearoa - Round 2 Preview

Pretty much now, what’s ongoing now in New Zealand seeing as they’re only nation on this planet that’s defeated COVID-19, is an All Blacks Probables versus Possibles in two acts every weekend for the next foreseeable future, and I don’t know about you, but I’m abso okay with that.

In the first match going off at 1am tomorrow (Saturday) MST, there’s talent aplenty allover the shop, but the battle to watch will be between the nines, Sam Nock for Blues and Brad Weber for Chiefs; they are of a size, though Nock’s got 20 pounds on Weber. The Blues halfback is sturdy in delivery and also when he decides to take on his opposite number, while Weber is the canny, wily veteran with a spring in his step and intelligence in his infrequent hoists.

Number 2 of Round 2 may present the most tantalizing positional placement of the weekend has Hurricanes have rostered Ardie Savea in the backrow lock key. Now if you’ve never seen mayhem constrained and loosed to great effect, pay close attention to the frighteningly magical stuff in the hurricane wind tonight, and he’ll go against Whetu Douglas for Crusaders, no slouch himself, tomorrow night at 9:30pm MST.
